Vincenzo's Night on the Mediterranean

This will be a night to remember....home grown tastes
from Italy taught by Vincenzo!

Chef Vincenzo gives a little bit of history about
his native country, Italy.

Chesapeake Gnocchi is the first order of business,
which combines traditional Italian fare with what the
Bay has to offer.

James helps out stirring the sauce...

and the Gnocchi is prepped to get boiled.

The class looks on between courses which includes
Chianti Chicken and Baked Endive with Bechamel
Sauce. And then the camera mal-functions! :(

but recovers in time for Tiramisu! Eggs are separated.....

and Recie gets into the act!

The end product is worth the wait!

The evening ends with the sharing of a guarded
recipe - Vincenzo's Lemoncello!

Which is sampled at the end of the evening.

Thanks Vincenzo! One gained an appreciation of
how these meals are built with time-honored traditions!

For authentic Italian fare, take a trip over to Solomon's
Island for a meal that is sure to please:
