Lin from the Back Creek Inn Shares Her Italian Trip With Us!

Chef Lin made a trip this fall to Italy and brought back some magnificent recipes and wonderful memories that were shared throughout the evening.

The first item to be prepared was a beautiful Asparagus soup with basil pesto.

Chef Lin gets some help in prepping the pears for a tasty salad with Parmesan cheese.

Here is the finished salad; it plates beautifully and tastes even better.

Next is the Asparagus Soup with Basil Pesto.

Chef Lin is plating the Spaghetti Carbonara.

It gets served with the Spinach with Pine Nuts and Raisins. Delicious!

The finale is a Pear Crostata, topped with raspberries and vanilla ice cream.

Chef Lin did a wonderful job of preparing the meal and sharing her Italy trip. We look forward to her next class in June!
