Salmon Three Ways!!!!

The camera bug went a little bit wild tonight, so there will be groupings based on the entree. Chef Phil started off with one of his family favorite recipes - Pumpkin and Black Bean Soup. This is absolutely delicious!.



Next it was onto the Composed Salad of Asparagus & Salmon with Lemon Vinaigrette and Toasted Pine Nuts. This was so good that it was eaten before a photo could be taken!

And then it was time for the Oven Roasted Salmon with Fresh Herbs, Almond Rice Pilaf, Pan Sauteed Asparagus with Parmigianno Regianno.


The final main course was Salmon with Leeks and Peppers en Papilliotte. Yum Yum!


The leek is very cooperative and shows you where it should be sliced for the perfect piece every time!

...and then it was time for a little Rap Session!









The end result is a beautifully moist entree and the leek really adds a nice flavor!

Then it was time for the Apple Crostata Bake-off between the boys and the girls!





The evening ended with smiles all the way around!

This class has been so popular that Chef Phil will be offering this again through the College of Southern MD in August! This will be conducted at our facility so if you know of anyone that has missed out, please sent them to CSM to register!
